Spirited History 2008-2009 (TM)
During this podcast we visit with Kim Hammond about the Point Lookout Lighthouse in Scotland, MD. This historic site was established in 1830 to help protect ships from the rocky shores of Maryland. Not only does the lighthouse have a long history but during the Civil War the land surrounding was used to hold captured prisoners of war and as a hospital. Please sit back and enjoy the show.
