We had the pleasure of talking to Co-author Dr. Jerry McDonald about his book “Indian Mounds of the Middle Ohio Valley, A guide to the Sacred Mounds and Earthworks of the Adena, Hopewell, Cole and Fort Ancient People.” Earthworks and mounds are found throughout North America and are one of the few visable treasures left of these proud people. Preservation and understanding of these sites is vital to understanding the cultrue, history and geography of these mound building societies and what life may have been like some 3000 years ago.
